Hi guys,

my names is Benoit, I'm French and I'm going to study in charles uni the whole next year.
I can't wait to meet you all, it looks like we could have a lot of fun. And I have the language course in Mladá Boleslav but I don't know yet if I'll be able to go because of some administration problems with my uni. Anyway see you soon.

p.s : I'm going to start living at hostivar but I hope to find some flatmate and move closer to the uni, Is that possible?

Hey Benoit! I have an EILC course in Mladá Boleslav too... On 22nd August...
It's possible... You can live firstly in Hostivar, and then, move in to a flat...

Yeah ! Just got the acceptance letter too, it's so exiting ! About the accomodation at hostivar how did you pay the accommodation reservation fee? I'm pretty lost with all this stuff...

Benoit: About the money you have to pay, we did it by transfer to the account Ivana gave us in the mail, you have to do it before 5th August, and you will receive an e-mail that confirms the transfer. You can go to your bank or do it by Internet, because some people has paid like 20 euros for the transfer, but you can do it on Euros, and you pay only 3 euros commission.
I suppose that with the accomodation voucher and paying the money in time is enough.

Some people from Barcelona will arrive 22nd September by night, and we will stay in Hostivar :)

I haven't received the email confirming the trasfer yet, and I paid a couple of days ago :S

I did the transfer 21st July and I received the mail on the 27th, so don't worry, they will send you the email :)

Okay, thanks Anaïs and Lidia. The transfer by internet that'is what I'm trying to do for the last few days, but my bank website isn't working as it is suppose to... It's going to be complicated if I can't go to hostivar at first.

Yeah my bank website didnt work so I went to the bank and they did it for me... Don't worry Benoit I don't think there's going to be any problem!

A Russian/Aussie here from Sydney.. I'll be doing the law program in October

Anybody else staying at "Kolej Na Vetrniku'? I'm heaps worried about the deposit! Paid it on 29th July and havnt had any response- who should I contact just in case? I paid it to Koleje a Menzy.. any of you guys speak Czech by the way haha ?

Most of us stay at Hostivar (Charles Uni dorm for Erasmus students) or Strahov (CTU Erasmus students). Did you have to pay 1800 kc as we Hostivar people did? Wait for a couple of days because I paid last Friday and they sent me the e-mail yesterday... If you don't receive it e-mail someone from the International office but don't e-mail Kolej Na Vetrniku (at least Hostivar staff does not reply to any email...)

No idea of Czech, but you can survive with "Ahoj" (Hello) "pivo" (beer) and "Děkuji" (Thank you) haha
