i didn't expect this forum to have a book-discussion :P

hey jakub...they generally say that czech girls are a bit easy ,you know ...
they keep telling me that but i believe is a myth cause i heard that czech republic is a strict country
they also say that some czech men are so proud of their culture(ok,they had quite a unique culture ,but)
that are becoming very snob...
what do you say about these?

easy? depends on how good looking you are:) nevertheless you should not believe them.. My turkish friends also say Turkish girls are hard to get:) However its not true as long as you are considered to be a blond...like me:) ..hmm seriously - i know Polish and other more religious and superstitious nations think of us badly (we all go to the Hell)... but who cares, we dun love them either:D We make jokes about religion a lot:) In short - we are not a bit easy we are just easy going:P

Who told you we are a strict country? Not true. we are one of the most tolerant and peaceful nations - maybe older ppl generally dont like new things but thats bcs of 40years of communism.They were just raised in that way. Maybe that person who told u just meant the fact we obey the rules. I really have no idea why would ever someone told you this:)

Snob? Maybe im one of them... im proud of our girls, beer, ice hockey and president:)

jakub i think snob is not a good thing like proud...snob means also to look down to others because u may believe u are the best and to be a little arrogant....imagine what would happen if everybody was snob as u say...!but maybe you dont mean this!!

We look down to other beers...we respect just german and belgian:) we openly say our girls are the most beautiful..and we mean it:)

Yeah I know I have no idea about beers, I just picked the one which is easier to drink for me because I don't like strong flavours! xD But I know Pilsner is a better beer!

As far as I know you might not get accomondation in Hostivar if you only want to stay for 1 or 2 months. They'll give places to students who want to stay long term (why wouldn't they), so you have to break your contract and probably pay something between 80 and 200€. Not sure about the correct sum.

That's what we thought, but it seems this year people left from Hostivar and they got their money back. A guy who was this year there told us!

Milan Kundera is amazing! I'm halfway through The Book of Laughter and Forgetting at the moment, and I've already read The Joke and Unbearable Lightness.

But I'm up for bringing the discussion back to the beer. I've tried Budvar and Pilsner and I really liked both of them. I'm not normally a lager connoisseur so I'm looking forward to changing my mind :D

And as long as there are some whiskey bars somewhere then it's gonna be a VERY good year.

Adam: as far as i know there are no whiskey bars in Prague... just some jazz clubs..
