During semesters, there are the Tandem meetings for speaking foreign languages. There is a different English meeting in Krakow that continues year-round. Here are the details.
----
English Language Club
meets on the second floor at ul. Sienna 5 (the street beside Empik in the main market square, two floors above the ground floor)
Every Wednesday, 6 – 8 pm
The purpose of the meetings is to meet people from different cultures and practice speaking English.
There are more than 30 people almost every time – some foreigners, some students, some local people.
The only requirement is to participate and speak English.
English Language Club has met year-round every Wednesday except Christmas Day since 2007.
It’s almost free (2 zł) and there is tea.

The English Language Club meets every Wednesday, 6 to 8 pm, at Budda Bar at Rynek Glowny 6 in Krakow. For several years I hosted these meetings at a different location that you may have heard about, but since October, 2013 we have had to move to Budda Bar. This is not a language exchange or Tandem. It is only for speaking English. Usually there are about 30 people. Anybody can join the meeting to meet English-speakers and speak English. You don't have to be a native speaker, just participate and speak English.

Hello, We (my sister, my great-niece (13) and I) are going to be in Krakow on May 28 and we thought it would be interesting, especially for my great-niece, to meet with Polish students, etc., at your weekly get-together and we are hoping to be able to attend (if we find we have the time after our arrival). I noticed that it is now being held at the Budda Bar and I wondered if there would be any problem with my great-niece being at the bar since she is only 13. We hope we get a chance to meet you. Thank you for your help, Beverly
