Erasmus september (pt and eng) - some doubts need advice

Olá, o meu nome é Ricardo, tenho 23 anos, sou de Lisboa. Queria fazer erasmus em setembro (no meu 2º ano de mestrado e tese), e com sorte encontrar um estágio ou part time para conciliar. Já decidi que será no Brasil, embora ainda esteja com 3 opções em mente: Rio, Floripa e Belo Horizonte. Tenho alguma curiosidade com BH MG, porque sei que é um ambiente mais interior, acolhedor diferente do que se ouve das grandes cidades do Brasil, mas em que medida exatamente? não sei! Sei que, no geral, não terei tanto receio com a falta de segurança, criminalidade... e talvez o acolhimento seja mais facilitado ainda, por ser um meio mais propenso a ser sereno e as pessoas geralmente terao mais propensas para isso (não terá a azáfama habitual de cidade grande). O meu objetivo seria mesmo ir para o Brasil, que há algum tempo já constitui uma paixão platónica minha, apesar de saber que as condições socio economicas e de ascensão no mercado podem nao ser as melhores, acredito que e um sitio para mim, e que me vai ajudar a crescer com as imensas soft skills que os Brasileiros possuem no mundo empresarial de networking. Nao necessito de estar propriamente numa capital, quero mesmo absorver o espirito acolhedor dos brasileiros, claro com bom ambiente de convivio e exploração (quando nao estiver a estudar ou a trabalhar) e de noite com festa... nao me importo que a minha experiencia no Brasil seja num ambiente mais pequeno (do que um Rio ou SP), pois quero mesmo é fazer o meu circulo de pessoas, tornar me confortavel num novo sitio alem de lisboa, numa 2ª casa e aproveitar o clima (apesar de nao ter praia, o que digamos sera uma desvantagem mas nada de assoberbador, certamente os mineiras arranjarao outras formas de ocupar o tempo). 

Sim, estou indeciso! muito devido ao facto de nao conhecer o Brasil... daí que vos pedia, tanto brasileiros, como portugueses, como qualquer pessoa que tenha passado e usufruído algum tempo em BH, o que me pode dizer imparcialmente? Fui aceite na PUC do Rio, mas ainda posso mudar a escolha, e sinto-me inclinado para tal, mas confesso que estou habituado a segurança de portugal, e embora me apele mt o clima do RdJ, e a proximidade ao mar... nao sei ate q ponto vale a pena.

My goal would really be to go to Brazil, which has been a platonic passion of mine for some time, even though I know that the socio-economic conditions and the market rise may not be the best, I believe that it is a place for me, and that it will help me grow with the immense soft skills that Brazilians have in the business world of networking. I don't need to be in a capital city, I really want to absorb the welcoming spirit of the Brazilians, with a good atmosphere for socializing and exploring (when I am not studying or working) and partying at night... I don't mind that my experience in Brazil will be in a smaller environment (than a Rio or SP), because I really want to make my circle of people, become comfortable in a new place besides lisbon, in a second home and enjoy the climate (despite not having a beach, what we say will be a disadvantage but nothing overwhelming, certainly the miners will find other ways to occupy the time).

Yes, I am undecided, much due to the fact that I don't know Brazil... so I would ask you, Brazilians, Portuguese, or anyone who has spent and enjoyed some time in Belo Horizonte, what can you tell me impartially? I was accepted in PUC in Rio, but I can still change my choice, and I feel inclined to do so, but I confess that I am used to the security of Portugal, and although I like the climate of RdJ, and the proximity to the sea... I don't know if it is worth it.

If you could give me some advice, I'd appreciate it!
