Experienced and Dynamic Teacher of English

Hi, my name is Claudia and I am a CELTA (2018) qualified teacher from London, with a Bachelors degree in English (2006) and a Postgraduate degree in Education (2009). I have been working in educational settings (high schools, primary schools, museum education and language academies) for nearly twenty years.

I am a supportive and dynamic teacher who will design classes to suit your needs. Lessons will be interesting, as well as effective!

I am currently based in Barcelona where I work for a number of companies and language schools, but I also teach students online.

I believe real learning takes place when there is a desire to communicate meaning. I am guided by the use of communicative approaches which encourage students to acquire and use language in a meaningful way. I incorporate interesting, authentic materials wherever possible.
