English lessons online/in person with a certified native English speaker!

My name is Lauren Tanner.
I am a certified English teacher with a 120hr TEFL (Teaching English As A Foreign Language) qualification.I have lots of previous teaching experience and I am passionate about the English language.
I teach students from all age groupes (minimum age being 5 years old).I am a fun,professional, native English speaker from Ireland. I have worked as a private tutor and also as a English teacher for the professional language training organisation Araxi. I love working with people and I look forward to meeting some new enthousiastic students!
I usually use the teaching methodology PPP – Presentation, Practice and Production. Although depending on the objective of the lesson, sometimes alternative teaching methods are more suitable such as TTT ( Test, Teach, Test ) or TBL ( Task Based Learning ) The method PPP is both a straightforward and effective teaching methodology, especially for beginners. I feel that this teaching methodology enables me to build the students understanding of the English language and introduce new aspects of the language in a fun and flexible way, allowing me to easily introduce vocabulary, teach meaning and context,drill pronunciation and use grammatical rules and concepts in a variety of ways that suit all the different learning types – Auditory, Visual, Verbal and Kinesthetic.
The first lesson is free of charge and is an 'Introductory lesson'. The objective an introductory lesson is to evaluate my student’s current level of English and get to know the student personally, so that I can create interesting and engaging lessons for them.
If you are happy with the Introductory lesson and would like to continue lessons, my rate is €20/h. Personally I find that it is difficult to complete a whole lesson in just 1h so I offer an extra 30mins free of charge (€20 for 1h30mins) I understand that some students have limited time or concentration issues so I let my students decide but I do urge everyone to take it as it allows me to give a very complete and thorough lesson.
