How to get to Germany by air

If you want to travel to Germany you have several airline companies that can provide you cheap flights. Most of us are familiar with Ryanair. I think there are only a few companies that can overcome this one in prices. But in Germany a company like this can cost you more because as a rule they have airports situated some 1-2 hours distance from the main city. And here the transportation is quite expensive, especially trains. These flights are cheaper because you have to depart early in the morning and you'll have to sleep in the airport or book a hotel room. This means more money. But Ryanair has many destinations in Germany. Be carefull with the flights that exist only during the summer. For Weimar I had the flight from Altenburg but now the best options for me are Frankfurt Hahn or Berlin.

Easyjet is another company that I used to get to Berlin. The prices are quite reasonable and it has many connections to different places in Germany. From Berlin Easyjet has flights to different parts of Spain as well.

GermanWings and AirBerlin - I checked some closer flights with these companies but I'ts quite expensive for flights to Erfurt or Leipzig. But for internal flights or for traveling around the area the prices are quite resonable. They have many offers as well. GermanWings has these packs of Basic, Flex and Best were the clients can choose the services they want. Air Berlin seems a bit more expensive depending on the airport and period.

Lately Lufthansa ofers good prices. It is usually more convenient to buy round trip tickets. And the best thing about this company is that it takes you to the main airports. I know friends of mine that found thickets with Luftansa at 90 euros roundtrip, from Frankfurt to Bilbao. You only need to catch the offer.
