Accomodation for Master's thesis student

Hi!

My name is Rita and Im from Lisbon, Portugal. I'm going to do my master thesis in Tromso, full year, starting next september 2018 (Erasmus). So I would like to ask you guys if you know whether I have a place in one of the student residences in Tromso or if I have to haves classes in order to be accepted? I mean, I will work in a lab, so do you have any idea if I am considered a registed student at the University?

Once you've been accepted you have to apply for housing. Did you have to apply through the university in order to do your masters thesis?Even those students who are accepted for a Masters program arent guaranteed housing. I would message the University directly.
