Visa Application

Hi all,

I'm going to study at Groningen for the next semester. 

I'd like to ask you about the visa procedure. I was said that application for visa was my own responsibility and they'd only provide me with visa supporting documents. It means that I will have to go to another country (Georgia) for both to apply for and collect my visa, since the Dutch Embassy in my country (Azerbaijan) doesn't issue visas. But another Azerbaijani student who also goes to Groningen this year in the framework of this program says that he was told the IND would send his documents to the Dutch Embassy so he would need to go to Georgia only once (to collect his visa). Any of you facing the same problem? Are you going to apply for your visa yourself or the IND will do that for you?

I would really appreciate any information you can provide.
