Hi!
My name is J-M, I'm from Canada, and I plan to do a two semester student exchange at the University of Copenhagen in September 2014. I have a question about the cost of living in Copenhagen. Is there someone can tell how much it can cost for the grocery on a monthly basis, in general ? For a student way of life, I mean :P
Thank you very much !

Hello, guys!
I'm Miguel Ángel, a Spanish student who is going to start studying in Copenhaguen also in September 2014 thanks to an Erasmus scholarship. However, I'm going to stay there only the first semester, until January.
Trying to answer your question, Jean-Michael, I have heard the cost of living in Copenhaguen is high (at least compared to the Spanish one) but I don't know how much expensive it is. Anyway, I've been told that Copenhaguen is not as expensive as other European cities like London, Paris or Rome, so... Not bad ;)
By the way, guys, in which university (KU, CBS...) are you going to study from September 2014? In my case, it's the KU (Kobenhavns Universitet).
Finally, as Dorian said, hope to meet you in Copenhaguen next Autumn. It would be nice :D

Hi Miguel! I also will be studying at University of Copenhagen next September, for two semester in my case. The fact is that I'm trying to compare cost of living in copenhagen with a canadian cities, like Montreal where I currently live, and I don't really have any idea what is the cost of living in london or Paris :P So any advice on the price of grocery, appartment or transport, anyone ?

Hey have you guys got accomodation? I am trying to find people to live with for first semester and I would like to get our own place like an apartment! Would you guys be game?
Jean-michel Coderre-proulx Escrito hace 10 años
Personnaly I'm really open to find someone with whom I could share and appartment, should be very less expensive than a room on campus. However I'm staying for the entire year, and actually I don't know how does it work for accomodation in DK, like if it's a yearly or monthly lease. Any advice on that too ? :P

Hey guys. I will be at University of Copenhagen from september to january and I am also looking for some place to live. I am trying to find out some informations about prices so if I find out something new I will let you know :)

Hello again, guys!
Today I've received the application form from the KU and I have chosen an option which is "Housing: I wish to apply for housing", so if you do that the University of Copenhagen will help you to find accomodation around the city.
Anyway, I'm not sure if they provide you accomodation just in residences or also in apartaments, that's why it may depend on what you are looking for.
If I find out something new too, I will tell you as soon as I know it! ^^

Hi Miguel.
I also choose that option so I hope it will work :). I wrote to the housing department about more informations so I will write there when they reply. I also asked them about prices because I couldn`t find that information anywhere. And there is so much options :D
http://housingfoundation.ku.dk/housing_options/
If you look there, there are some informations.. but there is like hundred optiond in each (Halls of Residence, Shared Apartments etc.) .. crazy :)

Hello, Veronika!
Wow! The page is so useful! It contains tons of information about accomodation. Yes, it's crazy, I think I'm going to spend the entire afternoon reading and taking a look at everything, hahaha.
Thank you so much for your help, Veronika :D

They wrote me that invitation will be sent on June 12th. So we can spend waiting time by reading about it :D. So crazy. But still I dont know about prices. A fee of DKK 525 is required to access the booking system and make a booking but I dont know how much for month they want. Well lets wait :D

Hi guys =)
I'm going to spend a year in Copenhagen studying dance in the Frederiksberg area and it would be pretty great if some of us could get together and share an apartment! It is so hard to find a cheap room in this city.
I found so many scams already and some places just ask for too much money. I'll arriving on August 15th and staying at least until June 30th of 2015.
Anybody interested in sharing a flat?
Good luck for everybody, Daniela

Hi everyone !
I am Gabriel from Spain. I'm going to Copenhague in August to take a 2 years master programme in Global Development at the KU. I have been looking for accomodation there for a long time, although my first choice was a residence, I have been unable to find anything worthwhile.
So, I am interested in sharing a flat. I am currently looking in several websites of hunt-housing. If I find anything interesting I will say it to you.
Good luck guys !

Guys, take a look to this website ! http://boligsurf.dk
I am looking for appartments here, but one of the problems I have found is that single rooms are not usually offered, just whole appartments. Maybe if we work and look together we will be able to find a nice place to live.
