I never been there too, but I know Belfast is a very young city, for young I mean full of students :)
Right now I'm reading the Belfast's page on wikipedia, you can learn a lot of things about climate, history and culture from it.
I also found a blog about night-life in Belfast, very interesting!!
How much will you stay in Belfast ?

I'll study physics, great stuff ! It will be my third year, it will terminate my undergraduate degree.
What have you heard about accomodation in Belfast ?

I heard that staying in campus is more expensive than flats in the city....but there is no chance to meet Erasmus people. So I don't know what to do...

That's exactly what I heard! I think I'll stay in the Erasmus accomodation, initiallty at least, getting used to the place is priceless :)

Hi Gabriela!! I don't know yet.., I will be in Belfast the 21st of June.., so maybe I can help ypu if you go on July!! I have no problem with the accomodation, my university gives me a flat for me and for another three Spanish students..

I will be in Belfast from September to June. I don't know anything about accommodation... I've read about Elms Village, College Gardens...but I don't know too much about them... Where are you living? private flat or University's accomodation?

I also received the information pack with the application form and all that stuff but there was not application for accommodation...I guess once we've sent all the information we'll receive something about that, what do you think?

I asked to my programme director at QUB and he told me that perhaps we have to follow the online procedure, but he's not sure.
So I sent mails to the Erasmus staff and now I'm waiting for replies !
For Mathieu: for what I know private flats are cheaper then university's accomodation, but in the latter is more easier to know people!

On the other hand somebody has created a group on facebook for Spanish people who will be in Belfast next year. Maybe you could be interested in it! we speak in spanish but if you have any problem with the language I can help you! You have to search: Belfast Erasmus 2011/2012

Hi everyoneeee! I will stay in Belfast too from September to Juny at least! I am looking for flatmates (I haven´t heard nice things about Halls and University´s accomodation, or..well, they don´t suit me) so if anyone is interested on looking for a flat to share let me know ;)!
