From Alicante and San Javier Airport to Murcia

Some future erasmus students in Murcia asked me how to go to Murcia from Alicante and San Javier airports. Here you have the answer.

San Javier Airport to Murcia:
Bus, every day at  17.45, 19.15 and 22.45

Alicante Airport to Murcia:

Bueno... tambien tengo otra pregunta... Mi amiga quiere ir de Murcia a Barcelona por unos dias en Septiembre (antes clases se empezaran).

Alguien puede aconsejar como puede ir y que es mas barato...?

In order to go from Murcia to Barcelona basically there are two options (both webpages are in english):

Bus: http://www.alsa.es/portal/site/Alsa?portal.alsa.request.locale=en_GB
Tren: http://www.renfe.es/horarios/english/index.html

Maybe she also can take a plane. I know "Iberia" sometimes has free flights from Murcia to Barcelona: http://www.iberia.com/

That's not as good as it seem. In fact, buses from Alicante airport departs every TWO hours to Murcia, the last one at 21h30, and the 40 minutes is the time it takes to get to Murcia :D

Anyway, there is a good connection to Alicante: you can always take the bus to that city and then a train to Murcia (if your baggage is not too heavy, then I think it's better to wait or book flights arriving late pair hours or early impair ones). Too much experience lol.

Also, I'm currently living in Barcelona and the cheapest you can find as company is clickair. You can also try Spanair but it's less comfortable and not always on time. It flies to Alicante.

But by the way, I have another question... about travel froma Alicante to Murcia... I mean baggage... Are there any extra costs for that? Or maybe there is something that we should know when we are travelig... Fr example in Lodz (Poland) we have to buy another ticket for our baggage if we want to take it to bus or tram that drive inside town... And sometimes there are limits for baggage in some kind of busses...

Yes, I remember paying that extra on trams in Lodz... like I said you I was Erasmus there for 9 months :D

But don't worry, you won't have to pay any extra for your baggage for coming from Alicante airport to Murcia. You will just put your baggage inside the bus (down) and that's all. 100% gratis.

Gratis es una palabra que curiosamente se dice igual en inglés que en polaco... y en otras muchas lenguas :)

It's also very useful to know the relation between lol (english) and xD, XD or xDD (spanish)_depending on the funny-level. It's highly important for understanding a simple conversation (i can't avoid this, excuse me xDD)

Ola todos :)

Another question... My parents made me promised that I will go back for couple of days for Christmas this year... So i check my flights, and there is one on 21.12... I know that the christmas break will starts 23.12 but I hope there will be no problem to miss 2 days of classes (o may be...?)

But the question is kind of different.... So my plany take off at 6:00 in the morning so I will have to be there I think at 5:00...

Is there any way to get there from Murcia to Alicante in this hours?
I hope maybe there will be someone with good heart who maybe would take me by car, but if not, I would like to know my choices...

Any advices?

   Don`t worry about getting back to your country before the classes would end, we are going to lead erasmus lifestyle, so just take it easy :>

My flight seems to be quite similar, isn`t the norwegian airlines alicante-warszawa? We`ll sort it out ;]

No... Firstly I wanted to choose this flight, but Ryanair to Gdańsk was cheaper...

You know... if there where no transport at this hours we will go to the party beach in sunday night in Alicante and go in the morning directly to airport :P

Malgosia, last bus (only choice) to Alicante Airport arrives at 21:55, so you can either spend the hole night at the airport or find someone to take you there. Good luck!

No creo que tenga un número en concreto porque no es una línea urbana. Simplemente es el autobus Murcia - Aeropuerto Alicante
