Hello Everyone,
I'm looking into different study abroad programs for the spring of 2017. For UCM, it says this under my ISEP direct exchange program information:
"The level of studies requires that students be especially well-prepared, motivated, and fluent in Spanish. Candidates must have at least junior-year status."
After reading this, it seems that the classes at UCM are incredibly difficult, maybe even for native Spanish speakers. My question is, for anybody who has attended UCM (whether you speak Spanish as a 1 or 2 language), how hard are the classes there if you're taking something like history classes or other liberal arts classes? I don't want to spend my entire study abroad in the library studying.............
I thought the point of study abroad was to become fluent in a language, but this school states that you have to be fluent before starting classes there.
If anybody can comment on the difficulty of classes at UCM, please give me your opinions and also state whether Spanish is your native or second language.
