I was in Istanbul. Turkey is one of the leading country in south-est europe. The political balance and the reaction of the turkish people has effects on european economy and on the future of that area. Moreover, turkish people, at the moment, are a great example of what does "democracy" really mean, because they reacted against their government even thought the country is performing great.

Erdogan is bringing Turkey back on its steps in my opinion, by going backward along what Ataturk and its political view has built during last decades. Economy is not democracy: even though economy is strong and is growing fast, democracy is about rights and wellness of citizens. I don't like Erdogan's behavior against people who's protesting in Istanbul, I don't like when I heard that Turkey is going back slowly to the islamic law, and so on.
Egypt is a strange affair, and I don't like at all the behave of western countries towards it, but you know....where there is oil&gas, there are problems. Turkey has not that kind of problems.
