Hiya my name's Madelaine, I'm from Scotland and I'm going to be studying in Lund for the year! What are you guys doing about accomodation?
Pilar Córdoba Foi escrito há 11 anos
Hey there, Madelaine. I think that you can apply via your home University, if not, you could either post something here (on the accomodation page) or check the IHO (International Housing Office). There are other websites as well, such as:
Hope this helped!
See you next year

Hej madelaine, here you have two more links about accomodation.
The first one is the official of the university, you can directly apply for accomodation there, and in the other there's information about other residences that doesn't belong to the university.
i hope this helped!!

Hey Andrés,
I think that I'm going to apply for a corridor room in a residence, yes. In my opinion, that's the easiest way to get to meet new people, as no one else from my degree is going to Lund.

Hi people, I will pursue my elective master courses in Lund for one semester, autumn 2013. Couldn't find anything else than this place so it's nice to see other people interested in Lund!
I'm not familiar with arranging accomodation so I wonder what would be the best option for me. I see that people are interested in corridor rooms. Are they more like an apartment or will you get a room of a typical house? Well It's nice to meet new people but I also care a bit about privacy. Maybe I'm fussing a bit, but I'm not familiar with it as I said:)
And finally, how about the nations? anyone recommendations/experiences?
Pilar Córdoba Foi escrito há 11 anos
Hey Kerim,
I've never been on Erasmus before but I'm guessing that corridor room would be a room in a student residence. Depending on the residence you share kitchen and bathroom, just kitchen, kitchen and shower etc.
You can also pick apartments or even rooms on houses there I believe, but these are not corridor rooms.
About the nations, what I've heard is that on the Arrival week you get to know them a bit better, and then sign into one. They say that parties at nations are the best in Lund. I'm also quite new at this, as I said, so I don't know which ones should be better, but I'm sure all of them will be pretty great, and you'll get to judge for yourself when we get there.

Hi! As I read in the Lund Accomodation and Houisng webpage, we can apply for a flat or residence since 29th of April. There are some PDF documents with lots of information about each one of the options.
Also, a Facebook group of incoming students has been created. Its name is Erasmus Lund Autumn 2013 and currently it has a few more than 50 people. This forum doesn´t let me put the link so you can search for the group on facebook.
regards!

Hej alla!!
I'm Katharina, I currently study Politics and Nordiska Språk at the University of Zürich and I'll be on an Erasmus exchange year in Lund beginning (as probably the lot of u) in August. Haven't heard anything concering housing applications yet but I do hope to get a corridor room in Delphi or Sparta - or somewhere where there's lots of partying and fun! If though, it turns out that I don't get a room over Lu Acco I have a friend in Lund who rents flats and he'll organize one for me and I'd then be looking for (a) room mate(s)... so if anyone's interested in sharing a flat in Lund - let me know! I'll try to keep you guys updated but first of course I'll have to wait for news from Lu Accomodation.
And I guess you can also write me if you don't wanna share an apparment with me lol just to chat about Lund and uni, although might not be answering as quick since I'm in the middle of exams here right now...
Ah y parece q hay mucha gente de españa/latinoamérica aquí, si quieren hablárme en español me encantaría.....:)
So hope to se yall in fall...
hej då!

Hey,
I am biology student from Greece, and I m gonna study at Lund, too at spring semester of 2013-2014 academic year!!!!!!
I have a question about the accomodation. Does the application form for accomodation only refer to corridor rooms or to rooms appartment, too?
Greetings!:D
