Hello everybody, I have to find some place to complete my 3 month long summer internship in Izmir this year as soon as possible. I am an English philology student, year III BA. Does any of you have an idea what kind of institution may I choose? Maybe some tips? Some particular place? The main target for me would be a possibility to communicate in English there, sth like an office, anything! (except from teaching). I'd be really glad if one may help me, as time is passing by and I'm still with nothing.. ;(

i dont have an answer, but truely speaking your question is very implicit. it is not understandable, you need to explain what you want. you need to give examples, like i can work as ... in .... Also you didnt tell anything about your qualities. if you dont know in what kind of institution you can work, how can some foreign people know it ??? i think, english is not your native language, then you should say your native language too. better question brings better answers.

Well, I must disagree with you. I have been reading opinions of people from my country (Poland), who described the way they were looking for an internship and how did they got it and such a detailed resume was never necessary on the beginning. My university's Erasmus office also states that, as I am, again, an English philology student, I need to find something where I can speak English - and this is it. My native language, Polish, has nothing to do with the placement, because the Erasmus regulations say that I cannot use my native language during the internship. If it comes to your statement that I don't know in what kind of institution I can work - I said an office, which makes the matter quite clear, as the scope of activities one may do there is rather limited.
So please, be less discouraging for those, who are just about to start and need some feedback ;-).
