I have 2 available rooms, especially for erasmus students who would want to stay in Bornova .Female or male no problem for me.It has central heating system, internet connectivity (unlimited). It takes 10 minutes to Yaşar university on foot , 8 minutes to Ege university by bus(also you can use subway). Hello everybody
I'm a Belgian student who is planning to go on erasmus next year to Izmir. I was wondering what the best option is to rent a furnished flat. I'm looking all over the internet, but I can't find decent information. I'll go to Izmir with two other students, so I'm looking for a small furnished house/flat/apartment. We will study at the Yasar University, so it would be nice to look for accomodation in that neighbourhood.
Can someone help me?
Pieter

Meanwhile if you study at Yasar University there is a residence near the University. Yukselis residence named. Have a look at http://www.yukselisresidence.com/
See you.

Even I found something for you in hatay which is not so far away from the school but you have to take a bus like many students in Yaşar Unv. If you want to learn some details I can contact you with my friend for home..

Fulya,
Are you coming for an erasmus study, or just a holiday? Maybe you could rent a room in a hostel? If you're planning to study in Ghent, you can check this website http://www.gent.be/eCache/THE/1/27/923.html Otherwise, you can contact the university of Ghent. They have several home-institutions where "eramus people" live
Greetings
Pieter

Hi guys,
Who is going to attend courses at Ege University (Department of English Language and Literature) the 1st semester??
I'll be there the 2nd week of September.
Anybody knows when lessons will start?
Çagla Çelen Foi escrito há 11 anos
Hello Alice,
I'm studying English Language and Literature in Ege University and I checked the academic calender, however it is not fixed yet. Generally it starts around the second or third week of september but you can send an e-mail to Ege University's International Office for more information, check the official site till they announce it -or simply ask me time to time. =) See you next semester!

Thanks a lot çagla! :)
To be honest I don't know which is the official web-site, cause the only one I found surfing the net (in engish!), had no useful informations. :
Which year are you currently attending?
So, see you there!:)
Çagla Çelen Foi escrito há 11 anos
Ah, yeah you are right. They didn't translate the site much. =) I'm a senior from now on but first term i'll also take some classes from previous year that i couldn't take in Erasmus. So if you choose from 3 or 4, we can be also classmates. =)
Btw, you can benefit from the Turkish version as well;
- Akademik Takvim means Academic Calendar,
- When (2013-2014) section appears, click,
- Edebiyat Fakültesi (Faculty of Letters) is yours,
- Güz Yarıyılı gives the interval of Fall term.
If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Ciao!

Hi I'm Cecilia! I'm coming to Izmir to Ege University next year and I wondered if someone could tell me a little bit about Ege? I'm going to study international relations. Does anybody know if there are a lot of courses in English on this subject? I would also be very grateful if someone could give me a few examples of course titles since I haven't studied much international relations before :) My major is acctually Public International Law so I would also be interested in taking some courses in that, does Ege have courses in English on this subject?
