In my opinion, this is the best means of transport you can use in the city of Lahti (also in whole Finland). There are bike lanes throughout the city and everybody respect cyclists.

Do not be scared in the winter! It's cold but is safe!

Anabel, is really cheap! actually you can find lot of bikes in second-hand shops or in your building (in the basement). Ask also in your university.

The price is about 30-40 euros.
