How do exams work?

Hi, I would like to move in cluj for an erasmus and I have some doubts. 

How do exams/evaluation works here? In particular in Bolyai's university.

For example, here in italy, for each course we can sustain an exam more times in a year (5 times). But i know that it's not the same in all the countries, so that if you fail an exam you have to wait one year to repeat it. 

So how does work here in Cluj-Napoca?
