Hello everyone! I'm going to spend the following academic year in Lodz, and I'd like to know some opinions about BASECAMP accomodation. I've looked for some pictures on the Internet and it seems awesome!

Hi, I have been in Basecamp for this course and if you have any question I can explain you anything.
I'm also trying to sell my house stuff so if you are interested contact me before I leave Lodz on June. I bought everything new when I came and all is in very good conditions. I can also send you images of my room and my stuff and give you any piece of advice if you need.

Hello !
I am a student in biology at the university of Rennes in France.
I'm supposed to go to Lodz for my last semester (January/May 2023)
I would have liked to know if some of you would have some information on basecamp ? Im thinking to register here. Also, why not try to meet new people before arriving?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hello! I'm so happy you're going to Łódź you'll have the best time!
I was in BaseCamp I for the first semester and I booked a room in march for september cause I was afraid they were going to be full If I did it later, and I had no problems renting a room. The only thing is the price that can be a bit too high for Poland ranges, but I did the right thing going there cause I had a great time, always enjoying my lunch and dinner time with my friends in common kitchens. The common areas are always dirty to be honest, something is always broken but free time with friends is the best part, you will find someone there everytime so it won't be a problem finding new friends.
I wanted to meet someone before my arrival too cause I was so excited to go there but I didn't have the chance and once I was thereI didn't have any problems meeting someone. Just to give you an example I met my semester friends (who are my friends nowadays) in the first two weeks and I kept meeting people until the very last day.
hope you're having a great time and feel free to ask me whatever you want. :)

Hi, thanks a lot for your answer! I'm thinking of booking a room as soon as I can on basecamp, I've heard good things from several people coming from erasmus in lodz and so from you ?
It reassures me when you say that you can find friends easily since there are rooms in common with the other residents, I think it's great and it confirms me in my choice.
If I have any other questions I will let you know again thank you ?
