If you come to Lisbon as an Erasmus Student, you should ask for a room at Bica/Chiado. You have 2 Metro Stations 5 minutes walking, lots of bus, many small shops, restaurantes, coffe shops and esplanades. In Summer you have several beaches 20 minutes by train.
