Questions about accommodation (FEB 2020)

My name is Jacob Ruiz. I'm going to study in Hungary for the next five months (Feb-Jun) at the Szent István University in Godollo. I do have accomodation in the student hostel. But I want to know if its better to just stay in the student hostel, or rent a room in Budapest such as moving to a student dorm or a flat.

One of the reasons of my dilema is that Godollo is around 40 minutos up to 1 hour from Budapest as I have seen in the internet, and the public transportation works from 4:30AM to 11PM, so if I go to Budapest I have to either come back before 11PM or wait until 4:30AM.

I'd like to hear opinions and suggestions from other people to see if its best to stay at the hostel or move in somewhere more close to Budapest. Please let me know:)
