Hi, my name is Sara and I come from Barcelona! I'm on my third year of studies in Univesity of Barcelona (studying Communication and Culture Studies) and I'm moving to Bristol next September for a year. I'm looking forward to meeting new people! I will also have an exchange in Bristol for next TB. I study mechanical engineering in Linkoping, Sweden, my second year.

How will you arrange your accommondation, by internet or when you have arrived there?

Hi !

My name is Lola and I'm a French girl coming to Bristol next year too. I study English and I'm glad I found other people to talk to.

Now, my main question is : how do you people plan to find a place to live ?

That's definitely the hardest thing to find. I saw that the university (at least the University of Bristol where I'm going) provides accomodation but I think it's rather expensive and they say you're not very likely to get the room you want. I'm planning to look for flatmates to share a house because the landlords want groups of 4 or 5 students, not individuals.

So if anyone is interested I would be very happy to talk and to see where we can apply together.

Really, we're not allowed to have accommodation in the university ? That sucks ! I'm going to ask them to be sure. Yes, I've just added you on fbook so that maybe we can look for a houseshare :)

Hi guys! 

I'm in touch with another girl from Barcelona who is going to Bristol next course, as well as me, and we were planning to look for a residence through the university website. We were thinking about going to a residence because that would mean being with other people and living the "Erasmus experience". So we will look for a flexible place, without catering and not too expensive. 

I will tell you about our final decision as soon as I now it if anyone is interested! :)

Hi!

My name is Juan and I study Physics in Salamanca, Spain. As you all, next year I will study in Bristol because of the Erasmus program and I am so excited!

Some of you have decided where to live next year? I am looking for University residences but they are quite expensives and I am not sure what to do... Any advice? I think Sara is right about living the "Erasmus experience" in a residence, but sharing a flat with other Erasmus students could be great too!

I'm just looking for accomodation now and, thought I initially wanted a residence, I'm also thinking about going to a student flat. I don't know yet what will I do but if, for any reason, I decide to go to a flat and there's another room I'll tell you.

My name is Irene and I'm part of the Erasmus program this academic year (2014/1015). I'm from Madrid, Spain and I study Economics.
