This unique approach to international business ensures that the leaders of tomorrow are adequately prepared for the challenges of an ever-changing and increasingly interdependent world.
Program Overview & Structure:
The Master’s Program follows the structure with the curriculum divided into four different semesters. However, the curriculum has been built in such a way that students are able to condense their studies into a period of 12-15 months, should they so desire. This is particularly useful to students with other commitments, whether professional or otherwise. Students are offered an array of optional courses to accompany the mandatory courses, work experience opportunities, and the final thesis research. The first semester in Berlin will consist of three mandatory courses and two optional, whilst during the second semester, students will undertake a professional development and training program at the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, where each student can immediately apply in practice what they learned in theory in the first semester. The third semester will take place on the Babes-Bolyai campus in Cluj, Romania, and will consist of three mandatory courses and two optional courses. During the fourth semester, students will produce a final thesis on a related topic of their choice. Please note that the fourth semester can be spent at a location of the student’s choice.
Mandatory courses are worth 8 credits each, with students required to take three of these during Semester 1 and 3. In addition, students are required to take two elective courses during the aforementioned semesters, each being worth 6 credits. Students will therefore take a total of 36 credits in Semester 1 and Semester 3, and 54 credits over the course of the first year.
Students take five courses each semester. In the first semester, students will take three courses from list A, and two courses from list B. In the second semester, students will undertake the Professional Development and Practical Training semester at the ICD. In the third semester, students will take three courses from list C, and two courses from list D. Finally, during their fourth semester, students are required to research and write a Master’s Dissertation under the mentorship of a University Professor.
