Hey guys,
My name is Thalia and looking forward to my second year back here in Plymouth. I hope to meet many of you soon around. I have written a short something describing my first year experience here in Plymouth and thought I would also share it with you:
Overall my first year was fantastic. I made many friends and experienced something I never thought I would experience while my time here in Plymouth. I used to go to the hoe a lot to relax. It is something completely different to what I would usually experience back in my country in Venezuela. One thing I loved the most was the nightlife. I did experience going partying to the usual places like the Student Union and major nightclubs like Oceana which was great, but for me and many of my friends and other Internationals that I met in my first year, a nightlife Events company called Miami Mix Nights is where we used to go all the time.
Their nights are really fun and was a great opportunity of meeting plenty of Internationals from Latin America, Europe, USA, Asia as well as other continents. The music is a mixture of World Music. I would definitely recomment Miami Mix Nights to any new or existing International student from whatever country you are from. I am currently away in Exeter but shall be returning again to Plymouth in a month or so so maybe see one of you guys and girls at the parties. I am leaving you some links for more information and to share with friends if anyone's interested.
Thalia

I just got the email that Phil will meet us 18th Sep.. Do you guys know if we need to do the Online Enrolment or we just need to show up at the sessions?
Lucía Ríos Écrit il y a 12 ans
Hi!! The faculty of arts told that I must do the online enrolment cause the first day of class (September 17th) they give us our student card.
We are looking forward to welcoming you very soon to Plymouth University. However, there is an important matter which needs your urgent attention. Our records indicate that you have not yet completed the online enrolment process, or uploaded a photo for your University ID card.
Both facilities are now available by logging in to our e(at sign)applicant portal. Please visit this link, which will take you to the online enrolment and photo upload facility, and complete both of these tasks as soon as possible.
I'll arrive tomorrow at Plymouth, hope see you there!

Hi everyone!
I was wondering, why the hell does no one organize any trips? We're here in Plymouth and I'm sure most of us haven't seen much of the UK yet. Personally, there are many places I would love to visit, like Edinburgh, Oxford, Brighton, Liverpool, etc, but don't have people to go with. Normally, Erasmus Organizations always organize trips for Erasmus students, but I don't see any activity at all in that aspect. Am I the only one interested? If not, any ideas of what to do?

Hi!!
I am new in the city too. As it does not seem to be a place where newcomers meet, why don`t we say a place and meet fro a drink tomorrow or on Sunday? Then, we could discuss on interesting thigs, such as trips, sports, and so on.
Cheers,
David
