Hi all,
I got accepted as a PhD student at ForWind Oldenburg. I will get a salary of TVL13 which, according would be 4070Euro. Based on this gross net salary calculator I would end up with a net salary of 2894Euro in tax class 3 and without church. Can I just choose tax class 3 and opt out from church tax? How the tax classes are working in Germany?
