Hiya, unfortunately I'm not going to teach in Murcia this year, but I am studying there in September. I cant be of much help, but I know what its like when no one replies. My best tip is dont get a flight to Murcia Airport, as there's no transport into the city other than a really expensive taxi. Youre better off flying to Alicante and then getting a bus (company Alsa) for a few euros. It does take a little longer, but its easier to get into the city.
Do you both know where you'll be teaching? :)

Hello!
You can find all the information about accomodation in VIMUR the university of Murcia service for International Students. There are many available flats in Murcia so don't worry, you will find one even in October. However, I recommend you to not trust companies that offer Erasmus accomodation, because we have discovered many problems with them. On the other hand, Vimur is the university platform for finding accomodation, and it is trustworthy so take a look at it. Also you can find flats offers in our group ESN Murcia (Erasmus Student Network Murcia)

Hi everyone! I'm starting with my erasmus adventure at 25th august. Can you tell me how can I move from airport in Alicante to Murcia? And which one of hostels I should take for first days? I will be really happy if someone want to join me in Murcia for discovered this city !

Hi Sara,
Don´t worry about the connection from Alicante-Airport (Altet) to Murcia coach station there is a bus line company which do that matter. You can see the schedule and other details on its web page www.alsa.es.
Regarding accommodation I don´t know what are your planning to stay in Murcia, but you can find all kind of accommodation in www.booking.com, anyway I would say you could count on one of two bedrooms to rent in the terrace house where I live, but it depends on people who are visiting them, if they decide to rent them, the house will be complete.
By the way, may name is Felipe and I am from Murcia. I hope this helps you. We keep in touch.
