Hi i'm Katie, I go to the University of Leeds and study English Literature and Spanish. I'm currently in my second year but next year will be studying at the University of Murcia. Would be great to meet people also spending a year there, as I have never been to the city, and need some advice for finding an apartment, and what the city is like, etc. Feel free to get in touch, I also have facebook.

Hallo, I'm Bert, I study in Howest (Belgium) and next school year (2011-2012) (from September till January) I go to Murcia for Erasmus. Normally I speak dutch, I speak also English (good) and French (tolerable), Spanish is up to now too difficult for me.
It would be great to meet some erasmus students around here, so that I know some persons before I leave ;)
I'm also searching for a place to sleep, I have asked some school mates who went to Murcia last year, and they told me about "Ragooh" (http://www.ragooh.com/ --> Residencia de estudiantes en Murcia, Juan de Borbón)
They said that it was a nice apartement, mainly for Erasmus students (so, a good environment to meet a lot of nationalities),
but I would like to hear your opinion about that.. What do you think about it?
Kelly, have you found already an apartment in Murcia?

hi everybody!me too, I will go to murcia from september 2011 to may 2012!I am Romanian, but I study dentistry in Italy! I would like to know other students that will go to Murcia and also a place to sleep and maybe search something together.
A Spanish girl that studies in Murcia told me that the best thing to do concerning where to sleep is an apartement with other 2 or 3 Erasmus students an the price for each student for a room is about 150- 200 €/month! What do you think about this?
You Bert are you going to look for the place where to sleep before you leave or directly when you arrive in Murcia? And what about you girls, Katie and Kelly?

I would prefer to have a place to sleep before I leave, but if it does not is not a problem ;)
At which campus you will study? ("de la Merced" or "de Espinardo")
Oana Andreea Écrit il y a 13 ans
I will have courses at campus espinardo, but also at morales meseguer hospital, which is in the centre of Murcia. I think that an apartament in the centre is the perfect thing. That Spanish girl of Murcia also told me that in the centre there are a lot of Erasmus students and the apartaments for rent aren't too expensive...and you?where are you going to study?in which area are you looking for a room?

A bientôt!
Hi everyone!!!
I'm also going to study in Murcia from September till January. I'm belgian student (I study English and Spanish literature) and I speak French and English. I can get by in Spanish. I'm looking for a flat and some flatmates. If you're interested just let me know so that we could look for something together.
Bye!

Hey guys!! It's good to see that lots of new people are coming to Murcia. Honestly I don't recommend you to take a flat without seeing it before. The same with living in Espinardo. Espinardo is a small town in the outskirts of Murcia in which there is NOTHING!!! The best option is taking an appartment with some other students in the centre of Murcia. As most of you know, the normal price goes from € 150 to 200. There are two main campus, La Merced in the city centre and the big one in Espinardo. There are buses to go to Espinardo and also a tram. It takes 15-20 min to reach Espinardo from Murcia.
I hope that you all enjoy your erasmus. If you need any help, dont be shy and ask.
By the way , I'm looking for a flat for next year too, maybe with some international students, so if you are interested let me know.
See you in Murcia
