Hi, I'm Gabrielle and I have a six month marketing work placement at Ikea Saint-Priest. I go to Royal Holloway, University of London, and I study French and Management. I'm arriving at the beginning of August and don't know anyone. When is everyone starting their study at Lyon? I'd like to go to any Erasmus related events in Lyon. It would be good to hear from anyone who's gonna be there when I'm there. :)

Salut !

Hi all!
I'd like to study in Lyon in next academic year - so here is my question for those who are studying now - what are costs of living? I need some basic idea of that.
Best regards,
J

The average rent is around €300-€500. It really depends on what you are looking at and the area as well. A beer is around €6-7 on average, whic isn't very cheap. A week of grocery is between €30-40 for me. Once again, it varies from people to people. A monthly transport pass costs €31, it includes all the metro, trams, buses and cable cars (except the airport express)

Hi! I'll be moving to Lyon in September 2017 to do a management program at IDRAC university. I'm looking for an accomodation nearby the city center. I have heard district 1 and 6 are nice to live in. But i have also heard somethings about student recidences outside the city center. Is their anyone who has experienced living in Lyon and can they advise me where to look for a student room? And has anyone experienced living in the ''Allix''? Thanks :)
