Hello Angel J!
I will stay in Eskisehir in second semester 2012-2013. I'm a second-year student of the Independent film college in the fields of film and television sound mixing in Písek in the Czech Republic and I will study Cinema and TV in Anadolu university. What is your home university and what you will study on Anadolu university?

Hi everybody. I've been studyin' at Anadolu University. If you have questions about Eskisehir, I can help you :)

Hi!
What about accommodation? In Eskisehir I will study with my girlfriend and I want live with her. Is this possible? Erasmus offers me some accommodation for two? How much is accommodation for one person? I heard something about 150 euros.
Mehmet Ibze Écrit il y a 12 ans
I'm not sure they can provide accommodation so firstly, you should speak with International Office in Anadolu University for accommodation.... You can stay with your girlfriend but if you find a good householder :) because some of householders don't prefer to be rented their house for couples in Eskisehir. you have to try. Also you're right about the price. if you want to stay by yourself, you should pay at least 150€ (not including bills, gas etc) or if you want to stay with a friend (or your girlfriend), the price can be between 120€-150€ for one person(not including bills, gas etc).

Hi there,
I will stay in Eskisehir in second term 2012/2013 too.I am studying in third semester at Mendlu university in Brno, field of study Automatization and Informatics. What do you think about EILC of Turkish? I know that it could be very heplfull and important in everyday situation especially during the first days. Would you recommended any city that I should to prioritize?
Mehmet Ibze Écrit il y a 12 ans
Hi!!
Turkish language is little difficult for Europeans so if you don't speak Turkish at all, it will be exactly profitable to attend EILC course for the beginning. But attending the EILC depens on luck. Before I went to Italy for Erasmus, I had applied for EILC but unfortunately, I wasn't selected. I don't know how they will select the students for the course. You should contact with your university's international office to apply for EILC.

HI!
I'll stay in Eskisehir all the academic year studying Education.
About the accomodation.. I'll go alone and I don't know exactly how can I find a good place for stay all the year. I've read that in Eskisehir the students residence are only available for Turkish students. That's true¿? In that case, what type of accomoation are properly for one person or in general¿? Can you give me an advice??
Thanks!

Hi again,
I know also that you cannot stay in residence which is provided by the Turkish government but you can stay in special student residences, I think. I had stayed in one of them in my first year, which named "Ata Öğrenci Yurdu - Yenibağlar". The price was about 180€ for one person (including gas, electric, water bill, internet etc. and full of furniture) but rooms were too small. Here is the link of residence but unfortunately in Turkish :http://www.ataogrenciyurdu.com.tr/yurtlar.asp?id=28 You should contact with the head of residence.
