Welcome to the forum for Erasmus Leon 2011 / 2012!

hi im Dela from Poland, next year im gonna go to Leon with Erasmus program and have fun as much as i can! Is anybody who's going there this time as well? (it'll be the second semester) Let's get to know each other before we come to Leon!! ;)

@Dela - awsome:D i study at wrocław univeristy of economics. yea, i wanna go for this course. Suppouse its gonna start in january, si? im going alone, but im so sure im gonna meet a lot of ppl with who i'll have great time. i have some friends there, who is on erasmus programme in leon for 2010/2011. but after it they're coming back so i can ask them about some staff of accomodation and other...

im at university of economics as well but in Poznan ;p but its my first year, and yours? I won't go for this course so im coming at the beginning of February. Yeah this course starts in January, but im not sure when exactly ;p im going alone as well but i think its better for us ;) if u know sth about accomodation, parties, university etc. from your friends let me know pls it'll be very helpfull ;) are u going to look for some flat with ppl from Erasmus, yeah? Before u go to León or after coming? Cant wait to meet u guys!!

Hi ;) I'm also from Poland and I'm gonna go to Leon for first semester. I'm form Poznań and i'm studying in Wyższa Szkoła Języków Obcych. Where are you going to live in Leon? In a student hostel or in a flat? I'm going there alone so I'm scared a little bit ;P

ok, i have some news from my friends from leon:) the price of renting the room its about 150-200 euro, so its ok. theres a lot of pubs, clubs where you can get beer for 1 euro:) im not good espanol speaker so thats why im going for course.
@Klaudia-i dont think so there is any dormitory or student hostel. for sure its no problem to find any flat there to rent with students because Leon its student's city.

I was looking for some flats on spanish websites and there were flats to rent for 120 EUR as well but generally it's about 150-200 as Monika said. So it's really good ;) Beer for 1 EUR sounds great!! ;d I'm thinking about spanish course because it's 5 ECTS for this ;o But im not sure that i could pass all my exams so early :|
@Klaudia- there are some dormitory but really expensive, it's better rent some flat with other students :)

I've heard that flats are cheaper than dormitories but I don't know with who I can rent a flat. I'm going to Spanish course too, because I've studied Spanish for year, so I'm not too good in this language ;p My friends said that in many pubs and clubs are discounts for Erasmus students ;) Have you ever been to Spain ? I've never been there so I can't wait ;)

i know the University has a list with flats, included flats with Erasmus students, so u can find sth there ;) I'll do that as well. Discounts for Erasmus students.. it's getting better and better :D Yeah, I've been to Spain, in Valencia and twice in Alicante, can't wait to go there again!!!

hej:) its not hard to find ppl to live with, even just here. I do not anything about the list Dela. how i can get it? to get to leon we should take the plane to Madrid and later by train. Maybe we will go together cuz we all going in january:)

I saw it on the university website but now i can't see it, i've found only this http://www.jeule.unileon.es/?page_id=11 but there is no list. I think that we can write to our coordinator and ask about it, i'm sure about this list there is even written if it is Erasmus flat ;p The coordinator told me that the best way is to come to León, find some hostel for 2/3 nights and then look for something, the university will help us :)
We can search some coach to go to León from Madrid maybe will be cheaper ;) Do you already know the arrival date more or less?

Hi everybody, I'm a guy from Leon and I was studing in poland.
I remember all the questions that I had when I left my city for to go to Poland, so if somebody has any question or any doubt about accomodation, the way of life of Leon, places to party..etc. let me know.
don't worry becouse Leon is a nice city and erasmus will be the best year in your life :D

This will be my 2nd year in Leon, I'm from Galicia, 300 km to leon and I can try to help you in whatever you need.
I'd like to meet people who speak English to improve it because my level is quite low xD but always is good to meet people from any country.
Of course the first week of the course me and my roommates will go party every day.
