Bioparc Valencia

20th August 2017

We ended our week with a trip to the Bioparc

With animals from all over the world, the Bioparc was just 8 metro stops away from our apartment (take line 5 to Nou d'Octubre station)

Whether it's Madagascar or South Africa, animals from all over the globe can be found here

Bioparc Wikipedia

The grounds are expansive. The animals have their own areas but are free to roam. No cages in sight! The Bioparc is divided into different "continents", connected by various footpaths. You'd struggle to get lost here or to miss anything. We needed about 4 hours for our visit, including a stop in the café. Our table overlooked a pond full of fish that we were able to feed. The giraffe enclosure was directly opposite us. It was a really relaxed atmosphere, so close to the animals. Really cool.

price

Entry costed us about 21 euros per person and it was worth every cent.

An annual pass only costed an additional 5 euros. For anyone staying in Valencia any for a longer time, an annual pass might be a better option
