Shopping in Shodi

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope that you are all doing just fine!

Well, in this article I want to tell you about this shopping thing in Tbilisi, which I find pretty cheap and comfortable. You know, there are clothing stores, where you can buy some things cheaper than in other stores. However, they may be from other stores. I guess they buy them on their sale and sell them in their stores, because they usually have clothes for a pretty reasonable price.

One of these kinds of shops is called Shodi in Tbilisi, Georgia, and it's a pretty good clothing store, if you ask me. There you can shop comfortably, and you can buy lots of clothes with some small amount of money comparing to other clothing stores.

To be honest, I have known about Shodi for a long time now. It's been five years, I guess, since I first visited that clothing store. I must say that I was not very amazed by the store then, because it was not very large and there were many people. However, they made a pretty good progress after that and now I visit them really often.

The locations

Well, there are several locations where the Shodi stores are located. First of all, I must tell you about this one on Pekini Ave, because that was the one that I visited first. It was not a very large store. However, now it has a variety of clothes and you can move around there easily and choose which clothes you want and then go to the fitting rooms and try them on. But you should remember that you cannot take more than four clothes in the fitting room. It's kind of not very comfortable when there are too many people inside the store and you can not really move around the store then, but it's still managable, I guess.

This Shodi store is on Pekini Ave and it's just nearby the metro station called Technical University metro station and so that it is really comfortable for me to get to this store. I can just take the metro and there I am, just nearby the Shodi store!

There's another Shodi store on Rustaveli Ave and it's not that comfortable to get there, but it's still okay to go there. Sometimes they have some different clothes in some of their stores and that's why it's good to visit not just one of them. There's a way to get to the Rustaveli Shodi store, which I prefer and it's kind of an easy one, I guess. Well, I still use the metro for this one and I just get out of the metro on Rustaveli metro station and then I walk towards the Shodi store. However, it's not exactly very close and you can either take a bus from Rustaveli metro station and come out of it in just one stop. Shodi store will be a little bit left behind, but not very far from that stop.

The other Shodi store is on Station Square. I visit that store pretty often too, because I can easily take the metro and get out of it on Station Square metro station and then walk a little bit to the right towards the stadium, where there is this Shodi store and they kind of have some different clothes there too, which I didn't find in other stores.

The other Shodi store is on Marjanishvili street. This is a very comfortable place to get to. It's just in front of the metro, so I usually like going there, especially if I'm not going there from Saburtalo or somewhere there. This store is a really great place to get to for metro passengers. There are some other Shodi stores, but I don't like visiting them, because it's not that easy to get there. You must take a bus or something to get to them, and I don't really like that, because then you have to be in traffic jams and things like that.

So, the other thing that I like about Shodi besides its reasonable prices is that it has this web page on Facebook, where they upload pictures of their new collections and they have new pictures almost every day. It's really helpful for their clients, because then they know which type of clothes they can find in the stores of Shodi and if they like something, then they will visit them, otherwise they just won't waste their time with just visiting the store. Personally I check the web page pretty often and I always know when they have some new collections and if I like something, I just go and visit any of those stores that I mentioned above. You just have to find it on the Facebook and Like their page.

Well, anyways, if you want to buy some clothes and you want to buy them in reasonable prices, you can visit Shodi stores, or just look at the pictures on the website and decide whether you like any of those clothes or not. There you can find shirts, t-shirts, jackets, trousers, coats, sweaters and even shoes, and they have them both for women and men, so it's a pretty good choice to shop in these stores. And, of course, there are some great sales on some clothes there and you can buy them even more cheaply than you usually would. So I really reccommend the Shodi store to anyone interested in cheap clothes stores.
