Why did you choose to go to Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation?

I was in a Erasmus Mundus Masters and my selected thesis topic took me there.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

500euros/month + 3000euros since it was outside of EU.

What is the student lifestyle like in Saint Petersburg?

Funny, entertaining, unlimited.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Saint Petersburg to other students?

I'm already doing this.

What is the food like?

There is a variety of different restaurants in the city since it's a multi-cultured one, e. g., Georgian, Italian, Greek, Mexican, Japanese, Indian, etc.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Saint Petersburg?

It's more safe to find accommodation thought housing agency, since many frauds are going on in the city in the context of accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Saint Petersburg?

That depends on many aspects and on your standards of living.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I never had any Russia course in SPb, but, I always get along with this subject. Nowadays more and more people are familiar with the English language in SPb.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Saint Petersburg from your city?

Aeroplane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Saint Petersburg?

There are many good places to, a lot of them can be found in along Nevsky Prospect, Chernockevskaya, etc.

Mama Roma is a chain Italian restaurant that offers great business lunch for good price.

Villagio, Italian restaurant in Vasiolivksy island.

Also in Vasiliovsky island on line 6 close the metro stations there is a walking district with a variety of restaurants.
