La Résidence des étudiants étrangers is an international student residence in the town of Savigny-sur-Orge, just south of Paris, France. We offer single, double and shared rooms for short-term (minimum one month) and long-term (maximum one year) stays.
Provides lodging for dozens of students and interns from various disciplines and walks of life. We strive to not only provide a temporary home, but also foster a sense of community for our residents.
The heart is found in our common areas.
We have two common rooms with couches, free wi-fi fibre optique in all rooms and cable TV.
Our main common room, found in the larger of our two buildings, also has tables and a take-a-book-leave-a-book library. Throughout the day you’ll find residents here surfing the Net, watching TV or just hanging out. The common room in La Maison (our second building) has a more cozy feel and is often the venue for conversations, games get-togethers.
Many residents’ favourite part is our backyard. It features ample seating and tables, making it perfect for outdoor meals and relaxation barbecues and garden patrys (weather-permitting, of course).
A deposit is also required after booking to complete the reservation 450 EUROS
When not outside, meal times are typically spent around our two kitchens and large food preparation area. Provides refrigerator and cupboard space for our residents as well as limited cooking supplies.
Its a very safe neighbouhood with shops supermarkets, cafes etc you would expect
the train station is 4 minutes walk !
Shared Amenities
Has multiple shared bathroom and toilet facilities located throughout the two buildings.
The kitchens and food preparation areas include communal stoves, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators and cabinet space.
A cleaning lady cleans all communal areas monday to friday
but residents are exspected to clean 30 mins each week around the house
A security deposit will be required after the reservation has been made through the website, refundable upon check-out.
