What is it like to live in Milan? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would recommend Milan because it has something special that other cities don't have. maybe it is because of the architecture and the style but it is just amazing

What is the student lifestyle like in Milan?

during the week you can go out with your friends to eat or drink something before having dinner but during the weekend, universities and clubs organize parties and it is amazing

How much does it cost to live in Milan?

it depends; if you live outside the season ticket can cost a bit but if you live in the center it is not that expencive. it also depends if you want to eat in important and fampus restaurants or you want to try the street food-

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Milan? Is there any advice you can give?

it is not that difficult, there are a lot of websites that can help you. on facebook there are groups that shows you different rooms and also universities can be really helpful.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love the food here. there is the typical Risotto alla milanese and cotoletta. If I could, I would eat just that for the rest of my life.
another dish is Cassoeula but I don't really like it.

What places would you recommend visiting in Milan?

If you visit Milan you have to see the Duomo, it leaves you speechless. you can go shopping in San Babila or Via della Spiga. there are always a lot of art exhibitions and things to do. another thing that people can visit is the skyscraper in the new part of the city.

Is it good to eat out in Milan? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is really delicious but do not eat near the Duomo, it can cost a lot! it is better to go outside as in Porta Genova or also known as Navigli. there there are a lot of amazing places where you don't have to pay so so so much.

Is the nightlife good in Milan? Where is good to go?

it is a bit dangerous if you travel by train but by metro it is not. you can stay near Porta Genova and it is really romantic or you can buy a ticket and dance in a disco. a famous one is Just Cavalli or Amnesia.

What advice would you give future students heading to Milan?

be sure you are living in places where the metro has a station, it is really less dangerous and there are a lot of soldiers or police.
Bring with you some good clothes and a winter jacket because it is really cold even if it doesn't seem.
