Language club

Published by Isidora Isailovic — 8 days ago

Hello guys,

After twelve hours that I spent at University on Thursday, I got a suggestion from other Erasmus colleagues from the University, to visit an event known as Language Club, called Meet and Speak. Completely tired of long day and infinite lectures of that day, trying to get involved in as much projects as I can, but also thirsty for more new experiances and more new friends to meet, I decided to go with my friends together to the club. That is the point when everything has started.

Language club

Immediately after the arrival, all of the tiredness, the tension and confusion disappeared. I saw many young people smiling and talking... a lot  :) and I became a part of the language family for a moment. First of all, a girl in front of enterance gave us a sticker flag of our own country, in my case Serbia, after that, we got Spanish flag, to improve (or learn) Spanish language, the American flag was given to us also, and in my case, I got German flag as well. I was so pround of my four flags! I found myself in the center of Erasmus students gathering, and suddenly I could meet people from a lot of different countries. I met Italians, Germans, Romanians, Russians, Belgians... many many more and of course many people from Greece.

Language club

I especially joined one girl and a boy from Greece. We exchanged our instagrams and we already make appoitment for our coffee :) We all celebrated our close friendship with the occasion of red wine and tacos and exchanging experiences. It was beautiful... We were all happy, crazy, funny... it was day to remember, because it was communicating in all languages of the world. I can't wait for next Meet and Speak event.

Language club

Even though we have successfully communicated in one of the languages, however, everything has been compounded by one universal language - language of youth!

Language club

With love,
Isidora
