24 year-old student, looking for a place to rent in Linköping

Hello,

my name is Luca Contrino, and I will begin my studies as Linköping Univeristy in August this year in European and International relations. I'm 24 years old and originally from Italy, but currently living and working in Bulgaria for an outsourcing company. I have begun looking for accommodation, and am looking for something around 400 euros per month, but am willing to go up to 500/550 per month. I will arrive first, but my girlfriend will come 1-2 months later as she needs to complete some documentation. She will come to study Swedish and look for work. In any case, we will be sharing a room so no need to leave one empty for her, and of course she will pay her share of the rent as a regular tenant.

We are both non-smokers, but do not mind if housemates smoke. We do not have any pets, but it's not a problem for us if there are pets in the house. We are happy to rent with both students or workers, and don't mind if some parties go down, or if our housemates prefer a quiet life.

I also hope to work a little while I complete my Master's here, so any information in that regard is much appreciated.
I'm happy to look for something in Linköping itself, or also in the areas immediately surrounding it if the transport options make them a viable choice. The course begins on August 22nd so a move-in date before that would be best (but it doesn't need to be much earlier, even a few days is fine). I plan to be in Sweden a couple of weeks before the course begins, so I can be in Linköping to finalise details in that time.
