What is it like to live in Leuven? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a quiet city if you live on the outside of the ring. The downtown is partying all the time except the exam period. The beer is just awesome.

the study period is party time, but the exam period is really hard..

How much does it cost to live in Leuven?

500-700 eur/month should be enough depending on the accommodation (around 300-500), and it's cheaper if you cook for yourself/bring back the bottles :D A party usually costs 20 euros

the central library, the aarenberg castle, the botanic garden, etc. Of course the Oudemarkt (the ultimate party place)

expensive, I only ate turkish food/fries sometimes
