So you’ve decided to come to Krakow? Great! But do you know how much it costs to live there? How much should you be spending on accommodation or on your daily needs? First of all, you should check public transport connections and then decide whether you want to live close to the city centre, close to the university or in the halls of residence. The good thing about Krakow is that you can get almost anywhere on foot and most of the campuses are close to the centre.

Secondly, you should consider how much money you’re able to spend on accommodation. Halls of residence tend to be cheaper than private accommodation but also more crowded, so it really depends on you. Required Documents

If you are a student and you’re going to live in Krakow for some time, in order to rent an apartment or just a room, most landlords will ask you for your ID document or passport with a photo. You will probably be asked to leave a deposit, so make sure that you ask for a signed contract. This way, they will be legally obliged to return it after your contract has finished.
