Girl, 21 years old, vegeterian, looking for a room in Hamburg

I'm a young women from Switzerland, I just got my matura and I want to learn german before starting university. I'm interested into international relations and politics. When I was sixteen I went to Vancouver, BC, Canada for a year to learn english.Since then I speak pretty fluently english and my birth langague is french. My goal for this year is learning german. First of all, I would go to german classes in a school for a month or two. Then I would love to find a little job in Hamburg as waitress or so. Because my experiences thought me that the best way to learn a langague is to speak with people and have as much as social contacts you can have. This is why I would love to live in a flat / house where others students / people also live. Although I would like to have my own room.
