Guayaquil is a big (around 5 million people), hot (really hot), and nice city. If you have ever been in a low land city in South America, is pretty much like that.

What is the student lifestyle like in Guayaquil?

It´s pretty cool. The people is nice and joyful. Parties are a common thing, you can make good friends in the university.

How much does it cost to live in Guayaquil?

Its not quite expensive. To survive you´d need around $500-700 per month,

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Guayaquil? Is there any advice you can give?

It´s not difficult. You can walk around some neighborhoods and find rooms and flats for rents, also in the newspapers people shows their offers.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

maybe the best thing here. you can eat like the gods. there is almost any kind of food, but seafood and plantain is our special thing.

What places would you recommend visiting in Guayaquil?

Las Peñas, Urdesa, Samborondon.

Is the nightlife good in Guayaquil? Where is good to go?

If you like to dance you'll find hundred of places to do so.
