Coachella Fest

Coachella Fest is one of the best weekends you will have! Coachella consists of a three-day event with many musical performances. Coachella is now also two weekends in the month of April. Coachella Fest is located in the Coachella valley in Indio. It is held on the polo ground fields out in Indio. Lots of people rent houses or stay in hotels around this area or the surrounding cities. You can also camp on the polo fields, which makes it easier because you don’t have to worry about transportation or parking, but it can be dirty! A lot of the hotels offer free shuttles back and forth between the hotel and the polo grounds so make sure if you stay in a hotel you have this option.

Everyone goes all out for Coachella, the outfits they wear and how stylish you look. Also the Coachella Fest in itself must be better every year or else people will be disappointed. They always come up with new crazy ideas like the Tupac hologram performing was insane! They also build many different structures where you can hang out and stay cool in or where you can climb and dance one.

Coachella Fest is also very artistic; there are always huge sculptures of different forms throughout the fields. They can be different from animals to plants but it is really fun to see all the different sculptress and artwork that’s within Coachella Fest.

The main reason to go is for the music, there are hundreds of performers ranging from all different genres. It is better when there are a lot of different genres because you can get a lot of different people all in one place and it makes it more diverse.

The weather is very hot this time of year so be prepared to sweat. There are also thousands and thousands of people who go to this event and you area always meeting new people as well as running into celebrities! 

Honestly every time I go I say, “This is the best weekend of my life” because I have so much fun! It truly is a great time and it is well worth the cost of a ticket, which I think is around $300 now.
