What is it like to live in Budapest? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Budapest is a safe place to live and to do your activities. It is not the most advanced city and startup communities dont thrive like in other countries (e.g Baltic States). The right wing government promotes life and family instead of death through abortion and immigration like many other leftist countries. Access to the country via air is quite simple

What is the student lifestyle like in Budapest?

There are many Universiities and so plenty of opportunity to meet other students.

How much does it cost to live in Budapest?

Budapest is increasingly becoming more expensive like many other cities in Europe however you can still find good deals and food is not so expensive unless you eat out a lot

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Budapest? Is there any advice you can give?

No not difficult but you have to shop a bit to find what you want.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Local food is not so good but any other dish is good

Too many to list here but Pad Thai is a good place to get your food quick and delicious

What advice would you give future students heading to Budapest?

Make sure you know what experience you are looking for. If you want to stay in Hungary after you finish your studies learn the language, if not learn the language:). Be open minded and understand their background
