Hey Francisca, at this stage I am just hoping to find somewhere to stay as it seems to be quite difficult. Then to meet peope and hopfully be sharing with young people who want to party etc. Also there is a madrid erasmus group on facebook...it wont allow the link but search for...Erasmus Madrid 2012-2012

Hi! I will be coming to madrid at the end of september, and working as a teaching assistant at the instituto secundario mariano jose de larra. looking online at the moment for somewhere in the centre of madrid to rent but it's proving to be quite difficult. i am thinking of taking a week out there to look aaround and make some appointments to see flats, but not really sure where to start looking apart from wandering the streets!

I'm Áine, from Ireland, heading to UEM in 3 weeks time to study for a one semester, really looking forward to it! Still looking for accomodation, there's 4 of us heading over and originally we were looking in the villaviciosa area...but reading some of your comments I think it'll be too quiet now?? :/ In work so I can't join the facebook group now but I will later :)
Are the majority of people staying in the principe pio area? Anyone studying multimedia in UEM?

Hi all!
We are two Dutch girls from 26 and 21 years old and we are going to study Business Administrations in Madrid at the UCM. Nathalie is 26 years old and speaks fluently French, English and a bit Spanish. Maaike is 21 years old and speaks fluently German, English and Spanish. lWe would like to meet other international students that will follow this cours and we are looking also for a appartment for us two.
We like to party a lot, but when it's neccesairy we also study some now and then.
Currently we are looking for flats in the palacio district and we have found some 3 rooms appartments. Maybe somebody want to join our flat so we can spread the costs in 3.

Hey! We are Elena, Alba and Jose, from Valencia and Soria, we have found an appartment in the center of Madrid at Gravina street: 1 min. walking to Fuencarral (a shopping street famous in Madrid) and the nearest metro entrance,10 mins by walking to get to Puerta del Sol, the appartment is very well situated, in Chueca, a vibrating, young and open-minded neighborhood where is imposible to get bored.
The appartment has 4 rooms, so we need a 4th roomate to get it! We have already had experiences on sharing a flat (in Madrid and Paris), so we know how to get along on living together (: Elena and Alba (21 years-old) are journalism and cinema students at URJC in Vicálvaro, Jose (20) in TAFAD in I.E.S. Pío Baroja. We know each other from long time ago, we are calm but always willing to have a good conversation with a glass of something!
The appartment is furnished and has a full-equipped kitchen, we can do a visit on Thursday 16/08 We are looking for someone who is going to stay in Madrid from September to May (minimum). The price is 280e for a little room!

Coucou ! Nous sommes Elena, Alba et Jose, de Valence et Soria, et nous avons trouvé un appartment au centreville à Madrid au rue Gravina: 1 min. à pied du Fuencarral (une des rues principales pour faire du shopping à Madrid), l'entrée au metro la plus prochaine est aussi à 1 minute, à 10 min. on a la Puerta del Sol... l'appart est très bien situé, à Chueca, un quartier pour les jeunes, vibrant et où est impossible de s'ennuyer!
L'appart à 4 chambres, et donc on a besoin d'un quatrième coloc pour le louer! On a eu des expériences de colocation (à Madrid et Paris) alors on sait comment vivre en compagnie! Elena et Alba (21 ans) étudient journalisme et cinéma à URJC à Vicálvaro, Jose (20 ans), TAFAD au I.E.S. Pío Baroja. On se connaît depuis quelques années, on est calmes mais on s'amuse avec une bonne conversation autour un verre de temps en temps !
L'appart est meublé et il y a une cuisine completement equipée, on peut faire une visite le jeusi 16 d'août. On cherche qqn qui reste à Madrid des septembre à mai (minimum). Le prix du loyer est de 280 pour une chambre petite et individuel.

Free room in really nice shared apartment in Madrid Center with three spanish students-young workers (23-24 years).
About 410-420 euros a month all included.
Free from 1st september. All comodities, next to ciudad universitaria. Between Metro Islas Flipinas and Argüelles.
Looking for a flatmate for a vacance of a friend, if you want to learn Spanish and know Madrid from the inside that´s your occasion.
