What is it like to live in Zagreb? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would definitely recommend it. It is a big city and there is a lot of things you can do. Zagreb lives all year around, and not only during the summer months.

What is the student lifestyle like in Zagreb?

Zagreb is a city full of students, so there are a lot of opportunities for them.

How much does it cost to live in Zagreb?

It is cheaper than most of european cities.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Zagreb? Is there any advice you can give?

I think it is not too hard to find an accommodation, but if you have opportunity to live in a dorm, do it.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is delicious. My favourite dishes are lasagne and pašticada.

What places would you recommend visiting in Zagreb?

You should explore Upper Town, visit museum of Broken relationships or Zagreb Cathedral. You can also go hiking on Sljeme. ANd you should definitely visit Jarun lake and Bundek.

Is it good to eat out in Zagreb? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are a lot of places you can go, I would recommend Baš Burek, but there are also a lot of really good bakeries.

Is the nightlife good in Zagreb? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is excellent in Zagreb. In the center you can find good clubs like Tali, Pepermint or Lemon.

What advice would you give future students heading to Zagreb?
