Why did you choose to go to Vienna, Austria?

It was somewhere different from the standard study German in Germany semester.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

One semester. 375€ per month from the Erasmus grant, but I also receive that and more from my home government.

How much does it cost to live in Vienna?

It ranges from 300€ upwards, I think. I pay 377€ for a single room in a Studentenheim, but I know others who pay a bit more for halls and WGs alike. I think around the 400€ mark is to be expected, but don't forget the deposit, as that can be high.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Vienna from your city?

I arrived from Strasbourg, as I had spent my first Erasmus semester there, and took the direct bus from Eurolines... which took about 10 hours.
My nearest home airport though is Belfast, my recommendation is to go from Dublin direct to Vienna with either Aerlingus or Lufthansa, but the cheapest option is to fly direct from Dublin to Bratislava with Ryanair, and then there is a bus direct from that airport to Vienna.
