How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

3 years... the Erasmus salary, it is lower than the average PhD salary, but it can satisfy basic needs.

What is the student lifestyle like in Stockholm?

Normal working environment.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Stockholm to other students?

Yes, sure. Especially that they applaud strengthen on the applied sciences and hand on.

What is the food like?

There is traditional food like salamon and meat balls, so nice and also ask other world varieties.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Stockholm?

It is very hard to find accommodation in Stockholm.... it costs 1/3 of the salary.

How much does it cost to live in Stockholm?

1000 € per month for accommodation and basic needs of food and transportation.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, it is available... but everyone will speak English with you.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Stockholm from your city?

You can go to Arlanda airport or Skavsta for charter flights.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Stockholm?

Some nice bars in gamla Stan or some night clubs.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Stockholm?

Good restaurants are a bit expensive, but generally cheap food court restaurants are ok for me.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Down town and museums.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Stockholm in the future?

Be calm, sometimes things take longer time to happen for you... but it will eventually be done!
