A beautiful developing city. Surrounded by mountains and has a cool hill station near by to chill out and relax.

currently there are a few colleges, so there isnt much student life over here.

it doesn't involve much costs as there is less entertainment over here.

it is easy to find accomodations in salem. best way is to opt for the in campus accomodation.

yercaud, mettur dam, other big cities are near by and easily accessible.
