How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received 300euros/month, witch was not enough not even for the rent.

What is the student lifestyle like in Rome?

It depends on your university but you can attend the classes and party as well. so, in my opinion it's good but a bit expensive.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Rome to other students?

yes.

What is the food like?

amazing!!!!!!! lots of pasta and pizza and ice-creams!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Rome?

yes!! It took a month to me and the friend that was with me to find a place.

How much does it cost to live in Rome?

I paid 500euros for the room, almost 20 for the public transportation, 30 for the internet and cellphone. the rest depends.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

the teachers speak italian, even when they know that there are erasmus students. I recommend that you learn some italian before you go but there are italian courses at the university (medium level).

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Rome from your city?

by plane.. I took a ryanair flight but you have to be carefull about the baggage wheight because I paid 20euros for every extra kg.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Rome?

there is this organization called ESN and they announce parties everyday. so if you make the esn card (cost me 5euros) you can go to almost every party for free.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Rome?

I stayed near San Lorenzo and there was this amazing "pizza a taglio" (you pay the pizza to the kilo) called Super Pizza (via dei Volsci).
